SAVOR 2014 – An American Craft Beer & Food Experience

The Brewers Association will be puting on their sevnth edition SAVOR – An American Craft Beer & Food Experience on May 9-10th at the National Museum in Washington, D.C. This craft beer and food event will showcase over 70 breweries from around the United States.

About SAVOR:

Each year, SAVOR holds a lottery to determine which craft breweries will have the opportunity to serve their beers at the event. To no one’s surprise, this year’s lottery was particularly competitive with 224 breweries vying to be one of the 76 participants. This year, they’ll travel to the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C. for the two-day event, May 9-10.

You may see some familiar names on the 2014 brewery list, but 65 percent of this year’s breweries were not at SAVOR in 2012, the last time the event was held in the nation’s capital. If you attended SAVOR for its inaugural visit to New York City last year, 70 percent of the 2014 breweries will be different from the last edition. This year’s breweries will represent 29 different states from all regions of the U.S – www.savorcraftbeer.com
